How To Connect ProjectX with Quantower

If you're looking to connect your Project X account with Quantower, this guide will walk you through the process step by step. 

Before attempting to connect Project X, make sure to update your Quantower to the latest version first. 

If your Quantower is up to date, you can skip this part and proceed to the next step: Search and Connect to Project X

Note: You must have your own Quantower License to connect successfully.

How to Update Quantower to the Latest Version

1. Open Quantower.
   
2. Click the gear icon (⚙️) in the upper-right corner to access Settings.
   
3. Under the General section, scroll down and enable the Beta Version toggle.
   
4. Click the Quantower Icon located on the upper left corner of your screen. At the bottom, you will see the New Version Button.
   
5. Look for version 1.143.4. This is the version that includes support for Project X.
   
6. Once it is completed, click the Update button.
   
7. Your Quantower will restart automatically after the update is complete.

Search and Connect to Project X

1. Once Quantower has restarted, navigate to the top of the screen and click on the AMP/CQG tab.
   
2. In the connection window that appears, locate the search bar.
   
3. In the search bar, type ProjectX. Click on the result that appears to proceed.
   
4. Under Server, select TickTickTrader from the dropdown list.
   
5. Enter your Project X login credentials in the fields then hit CONNECT.
