How to Enable 2-Factor Authentication (2FA)

Enhance the security of your TickTick Trader account by enabling 2-Factor Authentication (2FA). This guide will walk you through the steps to set up 2FA using a Google Authenticator mobile app.

What you'll need:

• Your TickTickTrader account.
• A smartphone with the Google Authenticator app installed (available on Google Play Store and Apple App Store).

Steps to Enable 2FA:

1. Log in to your TickTick Trader account.
2. In the "Useful Links" section on the right-hand side, click on "Two-Factor Authentication (Disabled)".
   
   
    
3. Scan the QR Code with Google Authenticator:
   • Open the Google Authenticator app on your smartphone.
   • Tap the "+" icon (usually located in the bottom right or top right corner) to add a new account.
   • Select "Scan a QR code".
     
     
4. Point your phone's camera at the QR code displayed on your TickTick Trader 2FA setup page. The app will automatically detect and add your TickTick Trader account.
    

5. Enter the Generated Code:
   • Once your account is added to Google Authenticator, the app will start generating temporary, time-sensitive codes.
   • Look for the code associated with your TickTick Trader account in the Google Authenticator app.
   • On the TickTickTrader 2-Factor Authentication page, enter this generated code into the "Code" field.
   • Then click "Enable".
