NinjaTrader Setup and Account Connection

At TickTickTrader, we provide our registered traders with one (1) free license key. If you prefer to use NinjaTrader, kindly contact us via email or live chat to request the license key.

Note: A License Key is no longer required for new evaluation accounts created after July 19, 2024

Installation Guide

To download the newly released version of NinjaTrader and use our license to connect to the platform, please follow these steps:

1. Go to the NinjaTrader website at NinjaTrader.
   
   
   
2. Login to your NinjaTrader account or register an account using the same email address that you have previously registered with us.
   
   
3. To download the desktop platform, click on "Additional Options," then find and select "Download Desktop Platform" and proceed by clicking "Download."
   
   

4. To begin downloading the installer, click on the “Download” button.
   
   

   
5. After the download finishes, run the .exe file and follow the on-screen instructions.

Optional Steps

• Microsoft NET Framework: If you haven't installed the Microsoft .NET Framework 4.8 on your PC, please download and install it from this link.

• Firewall Software: NinjaTrader contacts its license server when it starts to validate the license key. If you have a firewall, spyware, or similar software on your PC, please make sure to grant NinjaTrader permission to access the internet. Otherwise, you might receive an invalid or expired license message.

Connection Guide

1. Log in to NinjaTrader using the username and password that you used to register on the NinjaTrader website.
   
   
   

2. Access the Properties window in the Control Panel, click on "Tools" and then select "Options."
   
   

3. In the Properties window, check the box for "Multi-Provider."
   
   
   

4. Then, select the Connections menu and click "Configure."
   
   

5. Under the list of Available connections, select "Rithmic for NinjaTrader Brokerage".Press the "add" button from the "Configured" section.
   
   

6. Enter your Rithmic credentials in the "Properties" section on the right side and click "OK."

7. Go to the "Connections" menu in the NinjaTrader Control Panel, then select your configured account.

8. Once connected, you will see your connection highlighted in the connections menu and the 🟢 green connection status.

Check your Connection Status

You can check the connection status in the connections menu for each provider. There is also an overall connection status in the bottom left-hand corner of the Control Center.
